AfricaAfrica is the world's second-largest and second most-populous continent, after Asia, covering 6% of the Earth's total surface area and 20.4% of the total land area.

Population: With a billion people in 61 territories, the continent of Africa accounts for about 14.72% of the world's human population.

Next to Asia, Africa is the area on which Justice for the World is most focused on since the issues involved are most alarming. We have joined international campaigns which focus on the region of Darfur and started our own project.

The collective actions of human rights organizations in addressing the situation of Darfur and the proposed solutions have been criticized by some intellectuals. Their criticism being that the corruption that has been addressed by human rights organizations is a result of poverty, whereas we (Justice for the World) have been addressing poverty as a result of corruption and abuse of power in parts of Africa. We have thus taken a different stance from what most aid workers and aid organizations promote. We find it wise to look for the causal reasons, but find that one should take the current situation into consideration as well.

There is of course much more to this and we will make further analyses in our forthcoming book 'Conscience 2012'. We would like to invite students, philosophers, annalists and writers who are experts in this field to join.
